bride wannabe

| Dress: c/o Ivy & Blu | Clutch: Etsy | Heels: Nordstrom |

I love the girly, feminine vibe of this outfit! A few months ago I really wanted some pink heels and these ones from Nordstrom definitely caught my eye. I had part of a giftcard left so it was a no brainer! I bought them and am in love with them, they are so girly and fun! I paired them with this gorgeous, white dress from Ivy and Blu and the combo of white, lace, and pink kind of makes me feel like a bride! This outfit would be perfect for a bridal shower or bachelorette party, too bad my bride days are over...#nostalgic.

bold blazer

I'm gonna keep this post real short because I worked a 12 hour work day and my brain is pretty much over looking at a computer. I have been loving red and it's especially appropriate during the winter season. I love adding pops of red with accessories, clutches, nail polish or lipstick. For this look I went bold with a bright red blazer and lip color and paired it with black and white accessories. I love this look and the fact that you can wear it on a casual date night or for a night out with the girls. I think this outfit is so versatile because of the blazer, they always keeps things fun yet classy, I love them!

white out

| blazer: Bohme | tee: Old Navy | jeans: American Eagle |

| pink bracelet: c/o Sira and Mara | spike bracelet: c/o Apple of My Eye Jewelry |

I decided to take a little break from all of my colorful outfits and wear something more basic. I love black and white together and I think it always looks so classic and chic. I found this great white blazer at a boutique in the mall called Bohme and I was so excited because I've been searching for the perfect one. I decided to pair it with a plain white tee, jeans, and some fun accessories. The best part about wearing white is that you can dress it up or down as much as you want. I think this outfit means that I may be ready for fall outfits....just maybe.

red, white, and blue part 3 + fourth of july recap

// chambray: American Eagle // American Flag tee: Bohme //
// pants: Kohls // converse // spike bracelet: c/o Apple of My Eye Jewelry //

Here's my third and final Fourth of July outfit. I bought this shirt a couple months ago after falling love with it at Bohme so you could say I had my patriotic outfit planned well in advance! I paired it with an unbuttoned chambray, faded jeans, and converse for the rocker chic look.

I hope you all had a great Fourth of July! I had to work for a couple hours but luckily I got off just before 8 and was able to rush home, shower, and still enjoy the festivities. I ate some hot dogs, watermelon, and potato salad, super yummy! We did some sparklers in the front yard with my family and then went to watch the bigger fireworks. The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays because everything about it is so summery. BBQs, fireworks, hot dogs, warm summer nights, and being carefree. I can't wait till the next year's celebration (already!)

ps While I was taking these pictures my niece ran out and wanted to be in all of my pictures, it was so funny!

She was especially good at photo bombing! Haha

Isn't her little tutu and shirt the cutest?!

Here are a couple more pictures from our first Fourth of July as a married couple!

So my new favorite hair texture is the hair in these pictures!!
Here's the formula for this secret hair:
have dirty hair + add a few curls with a 1" curling iron
then...
bask in the awesomeness of your bombshell hair!!
Hopefully it wasn't a fluke and I can replicate it again because it was super simple!

And speaking of simple, I love the simplicity of this patriotic ensemble.
Stripes, red, white, and blue...
And not in a HI I'M CELEBRATING THE FOURTH OF JULY AND I LOVE AMERICA sort of way
I've realized as much as I love bold colors, statement necklaces, and neon,
I feel most comfortable in a simple outfit, without all the whistles and bells.
