A few months ago Matt and I went to St George because my sister-in-law was going through the temple for the first time. I've never been to the St George temple before and it was so beautiful inside and out! That weekend we hung out with family, went out to eat, and relaxed. Before we left we hiked around the mountains and it was so gorgeous!! The sky was amazingly clear and blue, the mountains so red and bright; I had to snap a few pictures of the landscape. I love looking at these pictures and dreaming of warmer weather, especially with this snow we just had today. Hopefully spring makes it's way to Utah and sticks around!

sunday night stroll
One of my favorite things to do with my husband is to go on walks at night, especially on Sunday night. It's so relaxing and last week the weather was perfect. It was still a little hot but there was the slightest breeze that cooled us off. We went on a walk last night and it was actually pretty cold so I'm not sure how many more walks we'll be able to go on without a sweater which makes me sad that summer is on it's way out. When we go on our little walks I love looking around and noticing cute little details or pretty flowers. This time I took the camera so I could snap some pictures. It's so fun to practice and I've decided that I want to take a class sometime so I can learn more about how to use a DSLR. I hope you all have a great weekend and make sure you go on a walk before summer's over!

an impromptu date night
Listen to this song while enjoying these pics of downtown SLC.
Yesterday was bring your wife to work day. Matt had to work in SLC and his company was shooting a video for kickstarter and guess who got to be in, playing a secretary?? Yes, yours truly! And yes I will be posting it once it's finished. Anyways, after shooting Matt's bosses were so nice and gave us money to get dinner. We walked around, snapped some pics, and enjoyed a dinner outside under some bistro lights. It was perfection and Salt Lake is absolutely gorgeous.
