transitional layering

| Sweater: c/o Oasap | Plaid Shirt: JCPenney | Jeans: c/o Aeropostale |
| Boots: DSW | Purse: c/o Sole Society | Watch: Target | Bracelet: c/o Urban Peach |

This is a pretty basic fall outfit but it's also perfect for that transitional time between fall and winter. Layering is my favorite way to warm up during these colder month and I love layering with button ups and sweaters! I paired this cozy sweater (it's actually really warm!) with some distressed denim and riding boots. With Cyber Monday upon us almost everything I'm wearing is for sale!! I've linked everything that I'm wearing above, happy shopping :)

pumpkin patchin

A few weeks ago Matt and I went to a local pumpkin patch and it was so much fun! The pumpkin patch is located right behind the Jordan River Temple which makes for a pretty amazing backdrop. It was the most gorgeous night and the weather was perfect! Matt was seriously like a kid in a candy shop!! He loves Halloween and pumpkins so he was super excited to actually pick our pumpkins straight from the root. There were so many beautiful colored pumpkins to choose from, we got a few white, pale orange, and regular orange pumpkins. We just carved them this past weekend and it was so much fun!
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year because there are so many different fun activities for us to choose from for our date night. Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, haunted houses, we love going to them all! We'll definitely be going back next year for some more pumpkins!!

falling for leather

| Dress: c/o Muse | Booties: Old Navy | Bangles: Alex and Ani |

I hope you all had an amazing weekend. Matt and I are trying to squeeze in as many fun fall activities as we can! This weekend we went to a haunted circus, the pumpkin patch, out to a new restaurant, and for a drive up the canyon. I had Friday night and all of Saturday off this week and it was the best to just be able to relax and spend all weekend with him. Even after all these years of dating and being married, going out on dates with him is still my favorite thing ever!
Now, let's talk about how fabulous this dress is!
I love the color , the pleated leather, and the high neckline. It's so gorgeous and perfect for this time of year!! This dress is amazing because it has a great pattern and texture, it even comes with a cute belt! I paired it with some burgundy booties and a matching lip. I picked up this lipstick for $5 over the weekend and I'm already obsessed with it! You can find it here, the color I'm wearing is called Black Cherry :)

october

Fall in Utah is one of the most gorgeous things I know of. The leaves on the trees are so bright and vivid, I especially love the red ones. Last weekend my husband and I went up to a nearby canyon to snap some pictures. I'm so glad we did because this week so many of the trees are now bare. This fleeting fall weather and scenery is something that I look forward to every year and I'm so happy I got to use my new camera to document it all. I definitely need to take a class and study up on how to use my camera better so just remember I'm a beginner!

enjoy your fall day today.

fall pastels

| Shirt: c/o Sugar Love Boutique | Cardigan: Francesca's | Jeans: Forever 21 |
| Heels: Charlotte Russe | Pave Bracelet: c/o Urban Peach Boutique | Watch: Target |

It's not often you see people wearing pastels during the fall so I decided to take a break from jewel tones and try it out. I've been meaning to style this shirt but just couldn't think of how to do it; I know I've said this before but color block pieces are so hard to style! I really love this shirt and how it has silver and gold, plus it is sparkly which is always fun. I finally decided to style this shirt with jeans and silver heels. The slouchy cardigan and messy curls gave it a more casual feel. So...how did I do? Would you ever wear pastels during the fall?
