| Blouse: c/o Dandy Dahlia | Jeans: c/o Aeropostale |
 | Wedges: c/o Sole Society (similar here, here, and here) |

The is the perfect blouse for spring, I love the bright green!! I also love a good striped top, I mean who doesn't? Anyways, for a lighter spring look I paired this blouse with my light wash jeans and these cute neutral wedges from Sole Society. Every girls needs a good pair of neutral wedges for spring and summer. I know that I will be wearing them a ton now that the weather has been nice!
What are some of your must haves for spring??

yellow + green + pops of pink

// blouse: Joe Fresh via JCPenney // skirt: Forever 21 //

This outfit is full of color and I absolutely love it! I have consciously tried to add more color into my closet this summer. In fact, I'm pretty sure that I've bought more neon, pink, yellow, and green pieces of clothing in the last few months than in the last few years. I definitely feel more comfortable wearing a little color or even lots of color. You ladies should all look for some bright pieces to add to your own closet, it is super fun!

This outfit is another one of those where I definitely scored great pieces for a great price. I had been searching for a bright yellow blouse for a while and I found this one at JCPenney on sale and it was perfect! I was also looking for a watercolor print skirt or dress and this skirt from Forever is surprisingly well made and modest. Oh, and this knock off J Crew necklace was purchased from Groopdealz, duh.

Here is the breakdown of the cost of this outfit:
Blouse: $11
Skirt: $18
Heels: $28
Necklace: $15
Total: $72

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

Guess what ladies?? You can always find on trend items for great prices without sacrificing style, it is possible! Here are a few tips:

1. Check etsy, groopdealz, veryjane, and sassy steals daily for cheaper versions of jewelry pieces. This yellow rose necklace I'm wearing in the pictures above is inspired by a necklace sold at J Crew for $128, umm no thank you!! I'll wait until someone makes a knockoff and sells it on groopdealz.

2. Go into stores you wouldn't normally think to go into. I was searching for some cute, cheap neon belts the other day and found some at Wet Seal. I haven't shopped there since I was like 12 but I went in and looked while I was at the mall and there was a pack of 3 skinny belts (yellow, hot pink, and brown) on sale for $7.99, score.

3. Stalk items that may be out of your price range and wait for them to go on sale. You can also search for promo codes or coupons.

4. Thrift shop at DI, Salvation Army, or other local shops.

5. When in doubt, check Forever 21*. Guaranteed you will find whatever you are looking for because that place has anything and everything you could ever want. It's also a great place for trendy items that you don't want to spend a ton on just in case it goes out of style next season.
*Make sure not to take your husband when you go to F21, they get really bored, complain, and ask you 20 times if you're done shopping.

What tips/tricks do you have for shopping on a budget?

This outfit kind of reminds me of leprechauns, Lucky Charms, and all things St. Patty's Day related. It's probably the green, gold, and black color combo but I'm cool with it. Anyways, this pencil skirt is definitely my go to skirt. I wear it at least two Sundays out of the month for church because it goes with everything. Definitely one of my 'wardrobe staples.'

Now, onto this hairstyle I'm wearing. I was running late for church and my hair was dirty, so that was a good start. I saw a picture tutorial for something similar on Pinterest and thought I would try it since I was in a rush. Can I say that I loved how it turned out! It only took about 5 minutes and it is so much easier than it looks. All you need it hairspray, bobby pins, and 5 minutes. Let me know if you gals would like a tutorial!

PS Tomorrow I am teaming up with some of my other blogger friends to do a giveaway that you do NOT want to miss! Seriously, it's going to be great and I can't wait to share what it is, so stay tuned!
