winter pastels

This year a pink pastel coat was at the top of my wish list so when this one went on sale at H&M and they had free shipping so there was no question. I had too and I was so glad I did! I love this coat and it is a lot more versatile than I thought. I can wear it with winter whites, navy blue, burgundy, the list goes on! It's hard for me to feel inspired during the winter so when I find colors that pair well together like pink and burgundy I absolutely love it! For this particular look I went for a winter pastel look with a pop of color. These burgundy cords are so comfortable and I love the bold color. Definitely a fall/winter fav!

I absolutely love getting all gussied up during the holiday season! I love anything with sequins and anything that sparkles. I love the rich jewel tones and bold neutrals that come into play during this chilly season. This look is one from church yesterday and it kept me nice and warm!

I am in love with this dress from Ivy + Blu and it's actually from their fall line but I got it specifically for the winter. I paired it with a lace shirt underneath because of the added texture and because lace is also perfect for winter. Then, I added some pops of burgundy and cobalt because well duh, that's my go to color combination and voila, holiday look!

It's no secret that one of my favorite color combos this fall has been burgundy and cobalt and guess what? I'm still loving it! I got this gorgeous burgundy sweater from Oasap and couldn't wait to style it. Oasap has tons of cute sweaters and it was so hard to decide on what I wanted! I chose to style this sweater with some cobalt jewelry for some fun pops of color. I wore a rosette necklace from Little Pixie Crafts which is a cute shop on Etsy. Karisa is the shop owner and I wanted this navy necklace custom made and she was so helpful and gave me exactly what I wanted! I also wore my go to boyfriend watch from Target (duh.) and my new bracelet from another adorable Etsy shop called JJ Walters Design. It's actually my blogger friend, Jessica's shop. She blogs over at Afternoon Style and also makes jewelry on the side. I love this necklace and this tartan scarf in her shop, they are to die for!! One of my favorite things about having a style blog is taking some risks and wearing pieces that I might not normally wear. I used to think that harem pants were so unflattering and I pretty much hated them but after seeing them on tons of other bloggers they really grew on me. I have tried on fitted, printed pants in the past and they just aren't flattering on my figure so I was nervous that looser ones would be ten times worse.
