I am loving all of the monochromatic looks this spring. Even though this isn't really a 'spring' look I think that black is a color that can be worked into any season. I put this outfit together for a quick date for dinner {fresh salmon tacos, yum} with Matt. In my opinion, this is the perfect date night outfit. The black on black and red lip dresses it up but flats and playful jewelry keeps it casual. 

By the way, this is my new purse! I love it. Just a little background about me and purses. I'm not a huge purse purchaser. I have one purse that is my go to bag; I wear it with everything. After a good year once it wears out, I go and get a new one. This is my new one! I haven't bought a purse in like two years, cray cray, I know. I love this neutral one because it can be paired with anything. Versatile and stylish, my kind of purse.
