A New Job + A Lesson in Patience

| Dress: c/o Ivy & Blu | Heels: Urban OG | Necklace: c/o Sassy Steals | Bracelets: Forever 21 |

Colorblock pieces are always a little tricky to style unfortunately, I'm always drawn to them! I finally decided that these burgundy colored heels would match perfectly with the fall colors in this dress. I love this dress from Ivy & Blu  and I love that they are so different from all of the dresses that I see at the mall. You'll definitely be seeing more of these gorgeous little numbers in the future on this blog of mine.

In other news, today is a big day for me, I'm starting a full-time job at Groopdealz! In order for you to understand how blessed I am to get this job you need some background of how I got it. I interviewed for a different job a little while ago and was super bummed when I didn't get it; in fact I gave up looking for a full-time job for a bit. I decided that I would just waitress and substitute teach until I found something better. Well, a few weeks ago I threw a blogger get together and one of the bloggers I invited was Jalynn. She had just been hired at Groopdealz and all of us girls were super jealous of her fun, fashion related job. Then last week she emailed me and told me that Groopdealz was hiring and that I should apply. I sent in my resume Wednesday, came in and interviewed Thursday, was hired Friday, and started work today! Things definitely happened quickly but I couldn't be more excited to start a new job that I know I will really love!! My job will be putting up the deals and doing a little modeling on the side when they need it, super fun right?

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to have a job that will help me support Matt and I while he's in school (which he starts today) and on top of that it will be something I actually want to be doing! I know it wasn't coincidence how everything worked out and that it was all part of God's plan for our family. He was truly looking out for us, and He just wanted me to be patient (harder said than done in my case). I am so amazed that when I was least expecting it and not even looking for a job He blessed me with the perfect one. He is so amazing and although I feel unworthy of His blessings at times I will just thank Him for continuing to give me more than I deserve.
